All About the Amelia Springs Trail Ride
Please be sure to read through all of the information below before completing your reservation so you know everything you need to know to have a wonderful stress-free experience at Amelia Springs.
Before you register, please read through all of the information below so you know exactly what is required of our guests.
You MUST register before the day of the event. No un-registered riders will be allowed entry.
After registering, please click on the 'Release/Waiver' page and complete the form. We will need to have it on file before the ride.
A current negative Coggins is required. Please upload it on our 'Submit Coggins' page or email a copy to ameliatrailride@gmail.com.

Gates open at 10am Friday for camping.

Early arrivals welcome on Thursday after 2pm (Must come with trailer, horses and be on site camping)

Registration includes Saturday lunch (on the trail) and Saturday dinner. Please plan the rest of your meals accordingly.

Farrier on site and Veterinarian on call.

Riding Info:

You may ride out anytime after Friday at noon.

On Saturday, riders may ride out anytime after 9am. Hamburger & Hot Dog Lunch (included in price) or pack your own lunch to eat on the trail Saturday.

There is an unorganized ride on Sunday.

Our trails offer a variety of terrain including creek, pasture, woods and gravel roads.

Riders under 18 must wear helmets.

Shoes are not required but recommended.

Trails are self-guided on private Hunt Club property.

Trails will be marked Short and Long rides.

No stallions.
Camping Info:

There is water, showers and horse wash at the barn.

There are water hydrants throughout the field.

The camping site is in an open field with no electric hook-ups.

No pre-saving or marking spots.

Dogs are welcome at campsites, but please, no dogs on trails.

Small contained campfires allowed with all wood and coals burnt to ash and fully extinguished when finished.

"Quiet" generators allowed.
